Abstract:

To provide a method for producing adamantyl (meth)acrylates useful as a raw material for a high-performance polymer such as a chemically amplifiable photoresist resin for fine processing and an LED sealing agent.

The method for producing adamantyl (meth)acrylates comprises the reaction of adamantanols with (meth)acrylic acids by drying crude adamantyl (meth)acrylates at the acrylate temperature of 20-40C while keeping the temperature difference of the heating medium and the crude adamantyl (meth)acrylates to 10C.
