Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a chimeric molecule by a liquid phase synthetic method in which neutral or cationic main chain skeleton nucleic acid including PNA is introduced into anionic main chain skeleton nucleic acid including DNA.SOLUTION: A method for producing a chimeric molecule in which first nucleic acid and second nucleic acid are fused includes production of a chimeric molecule by preparation of the second chimeric molecule precursor and deprotection as required by introduction of the second nucleic acid via a hydroxy group of a first chimeric molecule precursor, and by introduction of the first nucleic acid into the second chimeric molecule precursor, where the first chimeric molecule precursor includes a lipid-soluble anchor, the second nucleic acid has an amino group that may be protected, the deprotection of the second chimeric molecule precursor is deprotection of a protected amino group of the second nucleic acid introduced into the second chimeric molecule precursor, the introduction of the first nucleic acid is introduction of the second nucleic acid via an amino group, and all processes are performed by a liquid phase synthetic method.SELECTED DRAWING: None
