Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a coated paper enabling high-quality coating even by a double-layer coating at a rate of ≤10 g of solid component per 1 m2 of the web surface and reducing the production cost.
The production method produces a coated paper by coating a surface w1 of a web in two layers with coating materials ta and tb. Two coating materials ta and tb are ejected against the web surface w1 through a head having an ejection die 1f separated from the traveling web surface w1 by a distance 1s of 5-30 cm to form a double-layer coating curtain ca and cb and apply two coating materials ta and tb in two layers on one surface w1 of the web at a total rate of ≤10 g of solid component per 1 m2 of the web.
