To provide a method for producing a cross-linked material such as a cross-linked rubber molded product comprising cross-linking a cross-linkable rubber composition comprising an organic polymer containing vinyl groups, especially an ethylene-α-olefin-nonconjugated polyene random copolymer and a cross-linking agent in a short time with a cross-linking apparatus at 2×1019 network chains/cm3 to 20×1020 network chains/cm3.
The method for producing the cross-linked material comprises cross-linking the cross-linkable composition comprising the organic polymer (A) containing the vinyl groups and having ≤5 min cross-linking rate [tc (90)] at 160°C with the cross-linking apparatus at 2×1019 network chains/cm3 to 20×1020 network chains/cm3. Thereby, the cross-linked material such as the cross-linked rubber molded product or a cross-linked rubber expansion molded product carrying out hot-air cross-linking such as hot-air vulcanization (HAV) or ultrahigh frequency (UHF) and having excellent heat aging, compression set or moisture absorption resistances and excellent productivity is obtained.
