To provide a method for producing a detergent for removing cesium and strontium contamination having satisfactory removing efficiency and having a refreshing feeling after face washing.
A concentration operation is repeatedly performed to a leachate pumped-up from a well dug into the bedrock of Shotokuseki (a sedimentary rock, found in Japan, containing fern-like plants of Jurassic period) to obtain a Shotokuseki-concentrated liquid including trace amounts of at least 8 kinds of metal ions consisting of a sodium ion, a potassium ion, a magnesium ion, a calcium ion, a zinc ion, a copper ion, an aluminum ion and an iron ion and having a pH in the range of 2.5 to 3.0. The Shotokuseki leachate is made to be contained in a liquid soap in the range of 0.03 to 0.10 wt.%, and further, five diethylenetriamine acetic acid or phytic acid is contained therein by 0.05 to 0.20 wt.%.
