Abstract:
To provide a method for preparing an endotoxin measuring reagent that contains recombinant factor C, recombinant factor, and recombinant proclotting enzyme for measuring endotoxin more simply and highly sensitively.SOLUTION: A method for producing endotoxin measuring reagent in which a transformant of Pichia pastoris which is allowed to possess a gene encoding horseshoe crab-derived factor C, a transformant of Pichia pastoris which is allowed to possess a gene encoding horseshoe crab-derived factor B, and a transformant of Pichia pastoris which is allowed to possess a gene encoding horseshoe crab-derived proclotting enzyme are severally cultured, an obtained cultured product is used as a raw material, and an endotoxin measuring reagent containing recombinant factor C, recombinant factor B, and recombinant proclotting enzyme is prepared.SELECTED DRAWING: None
