Abstract:

To provide a method for producing a commercially suitable fluorinated organic compound, which produces a fluorinated organic compound by using sulfur hexafluoride stable in the air under a mild condition by a safe method.

Provided is a method for producing a fluorinated organic compound is represented by general formula (2) (wherein R is an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group or a heteroaryl group which may contain a substituent group) which comprises reacting an organic alkali metal represented by general formula (1) (wherein R is as shown above; and A is an alkali metal) with sulfur hexafluoride.
