To provide a method for producing glass-containing asphalt mixture where the adhesive force of finely granulated glass is high even when the finely granulated glass is mixed with aggregate.

The method comprises the following process: New aggregate heated to 200°C±5°C is mixed and agitated with finely granulated glass of room temperature with a mixer to obtain a 1st mixture of predetermined temperature through the heat exchange, the 1st mixture is then mixed and agitated with recycled aggregate of 155°C±5°C with the mixer to coat both the new aggregate and finely granulated glass with old asphalt adhered to the recycled aggregate to obtain a 2nd mixture. Thereafter, the 2nd mixture is mixed and agitated with 160°C±5°C asphalt with the mixer to coat the new aggregate, finely granulated glass and recycled aggregate with the above asphalt, thus obtaining the objective glass-containing asphalt mixture of 160-165°C.
