Abstract:
To provide a method for producing an N-vinylcarbazole compound, by which the coloration of the N-vinylcarbazole compound of a target compound can remarkably be inhibited, and to provide the N-vinylcarbazole compound produced by the method.
This method for producing the N-vinylcarbazole compound of formula (1) (R1 to R8 are each independently H or a reaction-inactive substituent) is characterized by subjecting a solution containing the N-vinylcarbazole compound of formula (1) to an oil-water separation treatment, subjecting the obtained oil to a vacuum-distillation treatment, and then recrystallizing the distilled product, in a purification process.
