Abstract:
To provide a novel oxide production method that utilizes oxidation reactions on an anode side during light irradiation to the anode.SOLUTION: In a method for producing an organic oxide, an anode placed in an electrolyte containing a substrate consisting of an organic material and chloride ions is irradiated with light to generate holes in the anode, the holes are used to oxidize the chloride ions to generate active chlorine species, and the active chlorine species are used to oxidize the substrate, thereby obtaining the organic oxides.SELECTED DRAWING: None
