Abstract:
To provide a method for industrially and advantageously producing propargyl alcohol.
This method for production comprises (1) a step of reacting 2,3-dichloro-1-propanol with an amine and thereby efficiently producing chloroallyl alcohol and (2) a step of reacting the chloroallyl alcohol obtained in the step (1) with an alkaline compound and producing the propargyl alcohol.
