Abstract:
To provide a glass tube semi-finished product or a hollow glass product manufactured from the glass tube semi-finished product.SOLUTION: One embodiment is provided with a first marking containing information regarding origin of a glass tube semi-finished product or information regarding origin and manufacture of the glass tube semi-finished product, and a second marking containing information linked to the information in the first marking, so as to allow determination to be made about originality, particularly authenticity, or to allow determination to be made about origin of the glass tube semi-finished product and/or origin of an apparatus with which the first and/or second marking is generated on the glass tube semi-finished product. Advantageously, the first marking is a marking that is produced at a temperatures above a transformation temperature of the glass in a counterfeit-proof manner. A combination of two markings provides a high level of protection against counterfeiting.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6b
