Abstract:
To stably generate a wire having a high average length in particular and having a high average aspect upon the synthesis of a thin silver nanowire by an alcohol solvent reduction method.SOLUTION: A method for producing a silver nanowire comprises a step in which silver is subjected to reduction precipitation into a wire shape in an alcohol solvent with a silver compound and an organic protective agent dissolved, characterized in that a polymer with a vinylpyrrolidone structural unit is used as the organic protective agent and that a state in which organic acid ester is dissolved in the alcohol solvent at a concentration of 0.1 to 20.0 mmol/L is made, and the reduction precipitation is progressed in the liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
