Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply produce a sulfamoyl-substituted phenethylamine derivative represented by the chemical formula (1) on an industrial scale.
SOLUTION: The compound represented by the chemical formula (1) (wherein, R is a 1-4C alkyl group) is obtained by reacting 5-(2-aminopropyl)-2- methoxybenzenesulfonamide or its salt with a 2-(2-alkoxyphenoxy)acetic acid or a reactional derivative at the carboxy group thereof in the presence of a base, providing a 2-(2-alkoxyphenoxy)-N-[2-(4-methoxy-3-sulfamoylphenyl)-1- methylethyl]acetamide and reducing the resultant 2-(2-alkoxyphenoxy)-N-[2-(4- methoxy-3-sulfamoylphenyl)-1-methylethyl]acetamide.
