Title:
METHOD FOR PRODUCING THERMOSTABLE ENZYME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6352873
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve yield of enzyme, by including a mold of a bacterium capable of producing a thermostable enzyme in heat-resistant gel and immobilizing the mold to the gel and bringing the immobilized particle into contact with a liquid culture medium under a culture condition of the mold.

CONSTITUTION: A mold of a bacterium capable of producing a thermostable enzyme (preferably heatstable, anaerobic bacterium) is included in heat-resistant gel (calcium alginate, carrageenan, polyacrylamide, polyvinyl alcohol, etc.) and immobilized. The prepared immobilized particles are brought into contact with a liquid culture medium under a culture condition of the mold. The gel used for inclusion and immoblization has preferably ≤1μ pore size of gel matrix.
