Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an ultrafine Al alloy powder and a high-strength Al alloy molded product and to provide an ultrafine Al alloy powder and a high-strength Al alloy molded product.SOLUTION: A method for producing an ultrafine Al alloy powder comprises: a first step of producing an ultrafine Al alloy powder having particle diameter of 10 to 300 nm by an arc plasma forced evaporation method for arc discharging to an Al alloy in a hydrogen gas-containing atmosphere; and a second step of introducing the ultrafine Al alloy powder into an oxygen gas-containing atmosphere to form an oxide layer on the surface. A method for producing a high-strength Al alloy molded product is a method for producing a molded product having a Vickers hardness of 2 GPa or more by solidifying an ultrafine Al alloy powder at a heating temperature of 500°C or more under a compression load of 100 to 1000 MPa or a method for producing a molded product having a Vickers hardness of 2 GPa or more by solidifying an ultrafine Al alloy powder at a heating temperature of 300°C or less under a compression load of 10 GPa or more.
