In the protective fitting method for bonding an inner layer of a metal laminate film to an end portion of a resin pipe by using the metal laminate having the same resin as that of a resin pipe for the inner layer when protecting the resin pipe to be joined with an electric-fused joint from photo-oxidation degradation with ultraviolet rays, damages, stains by earth and sand, and water in order to eliminate any scraping work, a protective material can be provided by easily and uniformly fusing an outer circumferential surface of the resin pipe matched with the outside diameter of the resin pipe.
