To provide a method and apparatus for providing speech communication services in a wireless communications system.

The process includes stages of: actuating an HARQ process; receiving and storing a first speech packet in a buffer in the HARQ process; receiving and storing a second speech packet in the buffer in the HARQ process before receiving the first speech packet normally; and adding an indication signal indicating that the first speech packet includes wrong data to the first speech packet and then transmitting them to a higher-layer entity.
