Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for purifying a carbon nanotube-containing composition capable of easily removing carbon impurities and a catalyst from a carbon nanotube-containing composition produced by a vapor phase flow CVD method.SOLUTION: The method for purifying a carbon nanotube-containing composition according to the present invention purifies the carbon nanotube-containing composition by performing the following step (A) or step (B) on a carbon nanotube-containing composition produced by using a vapor phase flow CVD method: step (A): a step of performing vapor phase oxidation in the temperature range of 300 to 750°C in the atmosphere, followed by liquid phase oxidation in the temperature range of 0 to below 50°C; step (B): a step of performing liquid phase oxidation at the temperature range of 50 to 150°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
