Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recording an image of a reversible heat- sensitive recording material capable of stably repeatedly forming the image having a clear contrast many times of 1,000 times or more with high sensitivity.
SOLUTION: The method for recording the image comprises the steps of recording the image by a heat generated by illuminating a laser beam by using a reversible heat-sensitive recording material containing a normally colorless or pale leuco dye, a thermally discoloring dye, and reversible developer for color developing the leuco dye by heating, reheating the leuco dye to achromatize the leuco dye so that the leuco dye is achromatized by an energy of 25 to 64% of the laser beam used for color-developing of the leuco dye.
