Abstract:
To provide a method for recovering efficiently a complex compd. of a metal of Group VIII in the periodic table.
An org. solvent (1) selected from a group consisting of aliph. hydrocarbons, alicyclic hydrocarbons and combinations thereof is compounded with a liq. to be treated contg. a complex compd. of a metal of Group VIII in element periodic table and the complex compd. of a metal of the Group VIII in the element periodic table is adsorbed with a polar adsorbent by bringing the mixed liq. into contact with the polar adsorbent. Then, an eluent (2) with higher polarity than the org. solvent is used to elute the complex compd. of a metal of Group VIII in the element periodic table adsorbed with the polar adsorbent.
