Abstract:
PURPOSE:To be slightly subject to the influence of coexisting ion and make it possible to lower absorption equilibrium concentration of a metal under an aqueous solution having high salt concentration, by bringing a chelate agent having an imidodioxime group into contact with a metal-containing solution. CONSTITUTION:A chelate agent having an imidodioxime group expressed by formula I (C1 and C2 are carbon atoms constituting lower-molecular compound, high polymer substrate or high polymer side chain; M are same or different and are hydrogen atom, alkali metal or alkaline earth metal) is brought into contact with a solution containing a metal. The above-mentioned metal includes gallium, ruthenium, molybdenum, rhenium, germanium or indium.
