Abstract:

To recover used boots and recycle them through their reclaiming process.

This method for recycling injection-molding boots comprises a step S2 to clean the injection-molded boots, a roughly grinding step S3, a sorting-out step, a pelletizing step S4, a blending step S5 and a boots molding step S6, all of these steps being performed sequentially. The cleaned injection- molded boots are ground into rough granules by the roughly grinding step S3 and further, the rough granules are ground into fine granules. At the same time, the fine granules are sorted out as a synthetic resin and a lining. The pelletizing step S4 is a process to granulate the fine granules of the synthetic resin obtained by the sorting-out step and thereby reclaim the fine granules as a raw material for the boots body. The blending step S5 is a process to add pure raw material pellets of the same kind as the reclaimed pellets obtained by the pelletizing step S4 to the latter and blend both pellets into the blended pellets. The reclaimed pellets are combined with the lining as a molding material for the boots and this combined material is molded into the recycled injection- molded boots through the boots molding step S6.
