To easily reduce the volume of an empty synthetic resin container or the like at the time of disposal using a vacuum cleaner for household use or the like by forming an opening to be sealable and providing an uneven part like parallel lines or lattices on an internal face of a bag.
In order to reduce a volume of an empty PET bottle or the like, a suction hose H of a vacuum cleaner for domestic use C is inserted in an end of an opening 11 of a synthetic resin bag 1 receiving empty containers E, and the opening 11 is sealed. Then air in the synthetic resin bag 1 is sucked by the vacuum cleaner C to reduce pressure to lower than an atmospheric pressure to have the containers E compressed for reducing the volume. At this time, protruding lines 12 like parallel lines with a pitch of 8mm are provided at equal intervals approximately perpendicular to the opening 11, thereby preventing the opening of the synthetic resin container from being closed by a smooth part of the bag to allow an air vent path, so that deaeration in the containers E can be clone smoothly for easily reducing their volume.
