To provide a fuel cell system capable of suppressing physical breakage of the fuel cell and removing impurities easily and efficiently.
In order to restore performance of a unit cell 2, an intake part 231 is installed at an air introduction passage 123 to supply air to a fuel cell stack 100 as an oxidation gas, and an acidic gas container 71a is connected via a connector 74a connected to this. Similarly, by installing the intake part 210Bc at a fuel gas supply flow passage 201B, the acidic gas container 71b is connected via the connector 74b connected to this. Since the acidic gas contacts formed water from the unit cell 2, the formed water is acidified, and impurity metal ions remaining in the unit cell 2 are discharged by the acidic water.
