To provide a method of positively and effectively removing paper dust and paper strips adhering to product sheets and waste and paper dust in the product sheets taken out of a blanking machine or a stripping machine batch-wise, and to provide a device for removing the same.
The paper blanked product sheets taken out in a batch are transferred by changing their position into an erect position, and during the transfer, the product sheets in a collectively accumulating state are separated from each other sheet by sheet. Next, air is sprayed onto each sheet which is then vertically oscillated, to thereby remove paper powder, paper strips, and blanked waste present between the product sheets. Further the product sheets are accumulated again on each other so as to be in the erect accumulating state, and they are transferred to pass between frictional pieces or sucking means while assuming the erect accumulating state, to thereby remove paper powder and paper strips attached to upper, lower, right, and left end faces of the product sheets.
