Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for removing sea jelly in collected sea water in which even if sea jelly is present within sea water collected from sea, sea water taking operation can be continued for a long period of time without clogging a marine engine or a cooling system in a power generating plate.
CONSTITUTION: Sea jelly in collected sea water is crushed, agitated and mixed by a crushing pump 1 into some fine particles, thereafter the sea jelly fine pieces are separated and removed by an automatic inverse-washing device 2.
