Abstract:

To provide a method for removing SO3 in an exhaust gas wherein a suitable amount of NH3 is introduced and a dust adhered to a discharge electrode can be fallen down even at a discharge-gas temperature at which NH4HSO4 is formed.

There is provided a method in which NH3 is injected into the exhaust gas containing SO3 and air is supplied to an electric dust collector 24 to remove SO3 in the exhaust gas, wherein the adding amount of NH3 for SO3 is controlled to remove SO3 in accordance with the exhaust-gas temperature where NH4HSO4 is generated.
