PURPOSE: To provide a device for scattering cut straws on tilled soil, suppressing growth of weeds, making soil fertile by the cut straws, having excellent workability by attaching a picking up device for picking up straws allowed to leave on the surface of a field to the front of a machine body provided with a tilling device at the rear.

CONSTITUTION: A picking up device 3 for picking up straws allowed to leave on the surface of a field is attached to the front of a machine body 2 equipped with a tilling device 1 at the rear. The picking up device 3 is connected to a cutter 4 for cutting picked up straws by the picking up device 3 and the rear of the machine body 2 is equipped with a scattering and releasing device 5 for scattering the cut straws on the surface of the field tilled by the tilling device 1. The scattering and releasing device 5 is coupled with the cutter 4 through a conveyor 6 to provide the objective device for scattering cut straws on tilted soil.
