To provide a method for selecting the color tone and odor of hair coloring by which preference of color and odor during hair coloring operation is pursued and a desired color tone and a comfortable odor can be obtained when a first agent is mixed with a second agent for use.
A plurality of first agents of a hair coloring formulated with perfumes having deodorant effects and a plurality of second agents of the hair coloring agent formulated with perfumes having high preference such as a citrus, a floral, a green or a fruity perfume, respectively are prepared for each color tone. A matrix of samples colored with the agents is used. Thereby, selection of an extremely wide range of color tones and odors can be selected by a person to be treated. Since the odors selected by the method are suitable for the individual taste, a personal hair fragrance reproducing the odors has the high preference.
