PURPOSE: To provide a method, in which hanging type metallic materials, etc., are set to furnace wall in a short time, in the repair of the furnace wall in a blast furnace.
CONSTITUTION: In the setting work by successively hanging the metallic materials, etc., for repairing the furnace wall in the blast furmace, a sufficiently long guide wire 10 is inserted from an iron shell opening hole 3 expected to be set at the next time, adjoined to an iron shell opening hole 2 expected to be set at this time, and connected with a hanging wire 7 and the interval between a taking-in hole at the furnace top part for metallic materials, etc., 6 and the iron shell opening hole 8 expected to be set at the next time, is communicated with a wire 8. By this method, plural metallic materisl, etc., for repairing the furnace wall can surely be set in the short time of stopping the blasting and the effect of the repairing of the furnace wall is largely improved.
