Abstract:
To provide a method for sludge dehydration for further reducing the percentage of water content in surplus sludge after a dehydration treatment step, and for reducing the load of drying or waste treatment in the subsequent processes.
A method for sludge dehydration for dehydrating sludge containing water and discharged as wastes by adding carbide to the sludge is proposed, where is a rotary drum type vacuum precoat type filtering device is used for the dehydration treatment, and carbide is used as a precoat agent of the device. In particular, the carbide having a desired grain diameter obtained by carbonizing the sludge dehydrated by the rotary drum type vacuum precoat type filtering device is used as the precoat agent of the device.
