To keep optimum the distribution of electronic money in all the shops/branch shop by monitoring the remainder of electronic money concerning a system for handling the electronic money at any financial institute or retail shop.
Respective branch shops A/B of the financial institute or retail shop and a data center 100 are provided with managing mechanisms 111 and 121 for electronic money, held remainder monitoring mechanisms 112 and 122, stock mechanisms 113 and 123 and buffer mechanisms 114 and 124. The held remainder monitoring mechanisms 112 and 122 send the remainder information of electronic money to the other branch shop A/B or the data center 100, detect the excess/lack of electronic money and transmit a caution message. At the other branch shop A/B or data center 100 where the caution message is received, countermeasures are determined and by exchanging the electronic money between the branch shop and a card, the excess/lack of electronic money at the caution transmission source branch shop is canceled. Besides, by using a graphical interface for monitoring the held remainder of electronic money, the held remainder and distribution of electronic money in all the shops/ branch shop can be easily grasped and further, the move of electronic money for canceling the excess/lack of electronic money at a certain branch shop/card can be easily instructed as well.
