To provide a method of sterilization and calcium deposition removal in an electrolytic cell which effectively sterilizes the electrolytic cell by an instantaneous reciprocal pulse, and prevents precipitation of crystals by vibration.
In the method of sterilization and calcium deposition removal in an electrolytic cell, the instantaneous reciprocal pulse whose voltage is several times or more higher than that of actual electrolytic operation in the electrolytic cell is applied during the electrolysis process in the electrolytic cell. The voltage of the pulse wave kills bacteria and disease-causing bacteria, and at the same time deposition of calcium carbonate (CaCo3) or other types of bound calcium on a cathode plate is removed by vibration to prevent the precipitation of crystals.
