Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a high quality heat shrinkable tube almost having no stretching/shrinking irregularity by reducing the irregularity of extension/ stretching in the longitudinal direction, by using an oval stretching die having a short diameter corresponding to the outer diameter of a tube base material.
CONSTITUTION: A stretching die has an inner diameter 1.5W2.0 times the diameter (outer diameter) of a tube corresponding to a stretching magnification. After the tube to be stretched reached stretching temp., pressure is applied to the inner surface of the tube to freely expand said tube even in the longitudinal direction as stretching advances.
