A secondary hopper 4a is arranged to the upper part of a concrete mixer, as a steel fiber feeder and steel fibers are packed in a bottom openable container 1 relatively large in vol. and a running device 5 such as a ceiling crane is arranged between the feeder being the primary hopper 3a connected to the secondary hopper 4a by a belt conveyor 6 and the stock yard 2 of the container 1 and the container 1 packed with the steel fibers is suspended from the running device 5 to be transferred from the stock yard 2 to the primary hopper 3a. The bottom part of the container 1 is opened in such a state that the container 1 is suspended from the running device 5 to the steel fibers into the primary hopper 3a from above and the steel fibers are transferred to the secondary hopper 4a by the belt conveyor 6 to be supplied to a concrete mixer.
