Abstract:
To provide a COD measuring method and a COD measuring system capable of measuring easily, quickly and accurately a COD in various kinds over wide range of measuring object solutions.
This chemical oxygen demand measuring method is provided with a process for mixing the measuring object solution with an oxidant solution containing an oxidant to obtain a mixture solution, a process for bringing the mixture solution into contact with a photocatalyst irradiated with light, a process for detecting an amount of the oxidant in the mixture solution, and a process for measuring the chemical oxygen demand in the measuring object solution, based on the detected oxidant amount.
