To provide a method for performing peer-to-peer wireless communication between a first STA and a second STA in a basic service set (BSS).
The method comprises the steps of: establishing by a first STA a direct link with a second STA on a first channel, where messages for setting up the direct link are exchanged between the first STA and the second STA through an AP of a BSS with which both the first STA and the second STA are associated; negotiating by the first STA with the second STA to switch a channel for the direct link to a second channel, where messages for switching the channel are exchanged directly between the first STA and the second STA via the direct link on the first channel without being relayed through the AP; and exchanging data by the first STA with the second STA via the direct link on the second channel.
