To provide a merchandise sales data processing system in which the use frequency of a Web application can be examined by its job name and a headquarters side can examine the use frequency of Web applications of each store and the whole stores while reducing the memory capacity of a stores side.

Each time the Web application is started, the ID and the job name of the Web application are stored in a Web application information file while acquiring the job name corresponding to the ID of the Web application by referring to a job configuration file, and the use frequency of the Web application specified by the ID and the job name of the Web application is also processed by computer in an examinable way by utilizing the Web application information stored in the Web application information file.
