To provide a method and a system for separating a transformer coil completely cutting a coil for a transformer coil and capable of easily separating an iron core and the coil for the transformer core.
The method for separating the transformer coil separates the annular iron core 21 constituting the transformer core 20 and the coils 23a and 23b wound on the iron core 21 through an opening 22 at the center of the iron core 21. The method includes a process in which the coils 23a and 23b are cut by moving an edge tool 7 approximately vertically in the winding direction of the coils 23a and 23b towards the annular surface 26 of the iron core 21. The method further includes a process in which the iron core 21 and the coils 23a and 23b are separated by moving the coils 23a and 23b or the iron core 21 so as to be passed through a part of the iron core 21 from the slits 28a and 28b of the coils 23a and 23b formed by cutting.
