Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for combining a hydrothermal treatment using subcritical steam with an anaerobic digestion treatment.SOLUTION: In a method for treating organic matter containing waste, first, a waste treatment system 1000 performs a hydrothermal treatment of sewage sludge which is organic matter containing waste in a subcritical atmosphere in a treatment tank 110 of a hydrothermal treatment device 100 in a hydrothermal treatment block 1100 (refer to Figure 2). Next the waste treatment system 1000 generates a treatment substrate for an anaerobic digestion treatment of a digestion treatment device 400 in a digestion block 1300 by: producing supernatant fluid We in a manner that separates solid substances from the organic matter containing waste (sewage sludge) treated with the hydrothermal treatment through a first solid-liquid separation mechanism 1150; and aerating the supernatant fluid We in an aeration block 1200. Then, an anaerobic digestion treatment of the sewage sludge, which is the organic matter containing waste (digestion objective waste), is performed by storing the same in a digestion tank 402 together with the supernatant fluid We.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
