Abstract:
To provide means for treating waste material derived from an animal so as to lose physiological activity of a pathogenic substance and also remove a residue to the utmost.
The method for treating waste material derived from the animal carries out the heat treatment of the waste material derived from the animal and then decomposes this by a treatment system 1 having a heater 2 for heating the waste material derived from the animal by superheated steam and a decomposition apparatus 3 for decomposing the heat-treated waste material derived from the animal by a microbe capable of decomposing an organic matter.
