PURPOSE: To provide a leakage test method wherein a total number of sealed bags can be tested for leakage without damaging the bags, no contamination to working environments due to water or the like may occur, testing accuracy is high and no difference among operators may occur.
CONSTITUTION: A sealed bag 1 with helium gas sealed together with an enclosure 2 is put into a container 3 with an air flow, an internal pressure of the bag is raised by a mechanical pressing means 7 inside it, the air flow is led to a helium leakage detector 11, and existence of helium in the air flow is determined for testing sealability of the bag. Therefore the sealed bag can be easily tested for its sealability without damaging the bag, a total number of bags can be tested since the enclosure is not damaged, correct determination is possible since it does not depend on operator's experience or the like, and no contamination to working environments occurs since water or the like is not used.
