PURPOSE: To reduce a test space and to selectively test an optional part of the safety container by mounting the safety container on a truck and moving it at high speed, and making the specific part of the container collide against a shock plate and giving a shock.
CONSTITUTION: The high-speed truck 3 is provided movably on a base surface 5 and an impacting plate 6 forming an impacting surface 6a is provided against it so that it can swivel horizontally and slant forward and backward. Then when the safety container 2 for nuclear waste, etc., is tested, the container 2 is mounted on the truck 3 and the part to be collided (e.g. upper edge part 2a, lower edge part 2c, side edge parts 2d and 2e, etc.) is set opposite the shock plate 6 to conduct a shock test. Consequently, the optional part of the safety container 2 is tested selectively and no fall test is performed unlike before, so a long space need not be secured above.
