Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a cloth for mounting capable of manifesting respective three effects of flameproofing, antifouling and antistatic effects without deteriorating.
CONSTITUTION: This method for treating a cloth for mounting is to impregnate the cloth for mounting in a solution of a flameproofing agent such as a bromine- based, a chlorine-based or a phosphorus compound, carry out the flameproofing treatment, provide a flameproofing-treated part 3a, then coat or impregnate the resultant cloth with an antistatic agent comprising a surfactant comprising an anionic, a cationic or a nonionic or an amphoteric surfactant, perform the antistatic treatment, subsequently coat or spray at least one surface of the cloth for mounting with an antifouling agent having properties capable of making fibers hardly foul such as a fluororesin and carry out the antifouling treatment. Since the antistatic treatment by coating or impregnating the cloth with the surfactant is previously carried out in the former stage in forming an antifouling-treated part 3b only on the surface of the cloth 3 for mounting, antifouling performances are not deteriorated.
