Abstract:
To provide a method for treating water containing harmful substances which can efficiently regenerate an adsorbent on the site after the harmful substances are adsorbed and removed by the adsorbent.
The method includes a process in which water 6 containing the harmful substances is brought into contact with the adsorbent 2 to adsorb/ remove the harmful substances on/by the absorbent 2 and a process in which ozone 4 is supplied on the site to the adsorbent which adsorbed the harmful substances, and the harmful substances adsorbed on the adsorbent are desorbed and decomposed to regenerate the adsorbent 2.
