Title:
METHOD FOR UNIFORMING ADSORBENT TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2616900
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply heat energy required at the time of desorption regeneration, uniform the temperature distribution of an inner-tank adsorbent and increase the desorption regeneration capacity by passing adsorption tank outlet gas through a plurality of through-pipes formed so as to pass through an adsorbent filled layer.
SOLUTION: When mixed gas is adsorption separated by the pressure swing process, an adsorption tank outlet nozzle is integrated with an outlet gas passage, and the inside of the adsorbent-filled tank is formed into a structure in which a plurality of through-pipes are passed through so as to pass the adsorption tank outlet gas through the through-pipes. The calorie brought out by the adsorption tank outlet gas as sensible heat is recovered by heat exchange by the arrangement when the adsorption tank outlet passes through the through- pipes to provide the effect of heating the adsorbent. As a result, the adsorbent temperature distribution is uniformized to prevent the lowering of adsorption separation efficiency. In particular, the more the number of through-pipes is, the larger the heat recovery efficiency is.
