PURPOSE: To realize the excellent preventive method against fatigue breaking by a method wherein the flexing part of the flexible printed wiring board concerned is held to the temperature below room temperature in the usage for repeatedly bending the cable part of the flexible printed wiring board, which has terminal parts for connection at both ends and the cable part for connecting between both terminal parts.
CONSTITUTION: A means 1 for fixing one terminal part of flexible printed wiring board 2 and a means, which fixes the other terminal part of the wiring board 2 to a heat part 3 arranged in space and, at the same time, brings the wiring board 2 into a U-shape under its fixed condition and moves parallel the head part 3 to the direction, which is the same as or opposite to the bending direction of the U-shaped flexing part, are provided. And, a heat exchanger 4 for cooling the flexing part of the wiring board 2 below room temperature is provided. As a result, the device excellent in preventing fatigue breaking is realized. Concretely, the service life of the device can be prolonged from several ten times to several hundred times as long as compared with that under normal use conditions.
