Abstract:
To determine whether a second base station can handle a half-duplex terminal in a radio cellular communication network in which the half-duplex terminal is handled by a first base station.
A method includes a step executed by the half-duplex terminal to receive signals from the first and second base stations; a step for obtaining the quality measured values of the signals; a step for obtaining the time period between the reception of a signal transferred by the first base station and that of a signal transferred by the second one; and a step for determining whether the second base station can handle the half-duplex terminal, in accordance with at least the quality-measured values and the time period.
