Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a micapaper having smoothness and excellent in mechanical strength, flame resistance and insulating property.
CONSTITUTION: This micapaper is obtained by ion exchanging an interlayer ion of a synthetic swelling fluoromica obtained by heating a mixture of talc with alkali fluorosilicate or alkali fluoride for an inorganic cation and is composed of a synthetic fluoromica ion exchanged material expressed by the following formula, a fiber and/or a water soluble organic material. Formula: αMF.βLF.γ(aMgF2.bMgO).δSiO2 (In the formula, M is interlayer ion and is inorganic cation, L is interlayer ion and is Na+ or Li+, α is 0.01-2, β is 0-1.99, α+β is 0.1-2, γ is 2-3.5, δ is 3-4, each of (a) and (b) is 0-1 and a+b is 1.)
